Winter Trans-America Tour (2005)
In January of 2005, Jesse Boyd was joined by his brother, Matthew Boyd, as Full Proof Gospel Ministries embarked upon another missionary journey. For almost four weeks, the Boyd brothers traversed the country, preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. From North Carolina to Washington State; down to Las Vegas, Nevada and El Paso, Texas; and back to North Carolina: over 8,000 miles were traveled for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus. Some of the highlights are as follows:
- The Gospel was preached on the streets of 10 of America’s larger cities (i.e. cities heretofore not visited by Full Proof Gospel Ministries): Madison, Wisconsin; St. Paul, Minnesota; Minneapolis, Minnesota (Here, Jesse preached outside a crowded nightclub when the temperature was three degrees below zero); Bismarck, North Dakota; Missoula, Montana; Lewiston, Idaho; Kingman, Arizona; Phoenix, Arizona; El Paso, Texas; and San Antonio, Texas.
- The Gospel went back to the Las Vegas Strip for a fifth time. This time, a man prayed to receive Jesus Christ out in front of some casinos. Many casinos were also saturated with Gospel tracts.
- Again, thousands of Gospel tracts and numerous Bibles were freely distributed and strategically placed all across the United States.
- Again, many Christians were exhorted to be bold witnesses for the faith.
- The Gospel was preached on the streets of Juarez, Mexico, and numerous Spanish Gospel tracts were distributed on both sides of the Rio Grande.
